We are the APICS Toronto Chapter

We are a not-for-profit, volunteer based chapter of APICS.

APICS is the leading professional association for supply chain and operations management.

The APICS Toronto Chapter was formed in 1961 and we serve the supply chain and operations management community within the greater Toronto area.

Our mission is:

To be the leading association for supply chain and operations management professionals in the Toronto area, by providing our members and partners with opportunities for development, networking and the sharing of best practices.

Participation in our local chapter enables members to pursue leadership opportunities that expand skill sets, enhance career growth, and increase marketability.

Our chapter offers a variety of services, including:

  • Instructor-led certification review classes that help prepare candidates for testing

  • On-site training for organizations interested in educating a group of employees

  • Plant tours that provide insight into organizational principles and practices

  • Workshops and meetings with allied organizations that enable members to network

  • Professional development meetings that foster local networking and career development


Our chapter also supports local student chapters at the following local colleges and universities:

  • Centennial College

  • Durham College

  • Humber College

  • Rotman - University of Toronto

  • Schulich - York University

  • Seneca College

We are a transparent organization made up of APICS members. We hold Annual General Meetings (AGM) every June to review our chapter’s performance, discuss challenges, and elect board of directors. A link to our chapter's bylaws can be found at the bottom of our website pages.
