Many companies are living what is known as the bimodal effect.  Inventories oscillate between too much and not enough. 

Do you have too many replenishment orders to expedite?

Do you have too many schedule break-ins?

Do you have Finance telling you still have too much inventory?

Roberta McPhail has over 30 years of real industry experience.  Roberta is certified CPIM, CIRM, CSCP,  DDPP, DDLP and CLTD.   She currently is teaching APICS certification classes as a Master Instructor for the APICS Vancouver chapter via British Columbia Institute of Technology and Camosun College as well as corporate engagements thru out Western Canada.   She is the 1st instructor in Canada to become both DDPP and DDLP instructor endorsed from the Demand Driven Institute and is also a Fresh Connections Simulation trainer.    She is an associate Consultant with CMG Group (a leading DDMRP consulting firm) supporting DDMRP implementations. 

Nick Seiersen is the CEO of Seiersen Enterprises. He has advised numerous canadian businesses on their inventory management and deployment strategies, both as a consultant with organizations such as AT Kearney and KPMG and independently with EDC’s small and medium high growth accounts. He has published numerous articles on Logistics and Procurement, including in SCM Now and is the author of The Right Deal With The Right Supplier (written in French). The February ASCM webcast attracted over 1,000 participants.
