Description:
Through the evolution of Management Technologies, Business Processes re-engineering/integrations as well as IT/Enabling Systems, this workshop thoroughly elaborates, with real cases, the following aspects:

  1. A holistic end-to-end overview upon Supply Chain Management - to see how different business processes, various stake holders (internal & external) seamlessly evolve, integrate and interface to form business supply chain partnership. It also illustrates how IT/Systems enable the supply chain process to migrate/transform to today’s e-commerce.
  2. Through this workshop, participants should learn the best-practice supply chain process and be capable to diagnose/re-engineer their own supply chain processes.
  3. Participants should be able to conduct a gap analysis on their IT/systems to better enable and automate their supply chain process.
  4. Through the knowledge of process improvement and systems capabilities, participants could enhance their overall supply chain performance (profit/customer service/ costs/cycle time), convert operations data into on-line/real-time knowledge and metrics, integrate their internal and external supply chain to form productive partnership, and establish their e-Supply Chain Management infra-structure.

Content:
This workshop provides participants very thorough elaboration upon the following topics:

  • various management technologies related to operations management, production management and control, quality management, continuous improvement, business process re-engineering, supply chain management….etc.
  • various business processes: procurement, production, logistics and distribution, customer service, CRM, sales and marketing, channel distribution, integrated supply chain management….etc.
  • IT systems: MRP, MRPII, ERP, CRM, TMS, WMS, OLAP/Data Mining/EIS/Data Warehouse, IVRS, e-Commerce…etc.
