Virtual Black Belt Certification Course – Three (3) Days

Course Dates & Times:
January 23rd, 24th & 30th, 2021 (8:00 am–5:30 pm EDT)

APICS Toronto Members: $485 + HST
Non-Members: $585 + HST

Certification of Maintenance: 24.0 points

Goal:
Create Lean Six Sigma Leaders who can embed the culture of Lean across the organization by motivating numerous Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belts. These Lean Yellow and Green Belts will work on multiple Strategic projects that achieve the Purpose and KPIs of the organization.
Note: To meet Black Belt training requirements, trainees must complete an exam and also complete a complex process improvement project.
The Lean methodology relies on team-based problem solving or process improvements, to improve the organization's performance, Through LEAN trainees will be able to remove WASTE OR reduce VARIATION in their processes. LEAN is Toyota Production System, and together with Motorola's Six Sigma, these certifications are in high demand in all the sectors, manufacturing, healthcare, service, and public service.

Requirements & Training Details:
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required. The Trainer only wants you to bring one Large size Problem from your current or previous job. We have planned numerous group exercises in the classroom to engage you. You will be able to apply Six Sigma methodologies and tools in your processes and through experiential activities that we have designed for easy learning and faster adoption.

Virtual On-line training session, training details and links will be sent ahead of the training. Trainer will use Microsoft Teams as a training platform.

IMPORTANT- If you have attended a similar LEAN or LEAN Six Sigma or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt course from an external provider, we will respect that. Still, you will have to inform the Trainer before registering to avoid any confusion during the session.

Trainees from every sector are welcome, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a must to attend this course

To Earn your Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, you will have to complete the following:

  • 2 hours of pre-work (Trainer will send the pre-work ahead of the training)
  • 8 hours of Day 1 training
  • 4 hours of homework
  • 8 hours of Day 2 training
  • 4 hours of homework
  • 8 hours of Day 3 training
  • Complete the Exam and complete a Black Belt project
  • Submit both Exam, project and get certified
